Aims and goals:

Dancescape South Africa or DSA's main objectives are to transform the lives of children living in rural disadvantaged communities by providing access to dance classes, appropriate performances, full time professional training.
To establish develop and grow after school dance classes in Zolani, Ashbury, Wakkerstroom, Montagu High School and Baden Farm School empowering and employing the youth.

  • Provide Educational Mentorship classes to assistance students with homework. (using Volunteers from Montagu)
    To establish a Dancescape Performing Group to perform and workshop in schools and communities addressing youth issues through music and dance.
    To set up Holiday Dance programs in all the venues where term classes exist. Invite professional Dancers and Choreographers from Cape Town to workshop inspire and promote dance as an after school and career option
    Enable children to participate in local community events organized by the Rural Arts Development Foundation.
    Enable Children to participate in the Montagu Youth Arts Festival (August)
    Enable children to participate in Cape Town dance Workshops at the invitations of the Cape Academy of Performing Arts The Teachers Dance Association and Dance for All
    Enable and expose children to performances at Artscape Theatre Cape Town
